That's right...Nutella is cheap here and I often find myself unconsciously grabbing the jar and spoon that are conveniently located next to my bed. Next thing I know, I've been through 5 jars in 3 weeks...wait, WHAT?!
In other news, I went to a cute church today called Galway City Church. Everyone was so sweet and friendly and a cute old couple gave us a ride back to our apartment after church. At church I met some ladies from Kenya and we were speaking in Swahili and I was totally reminiscing on life in Africa...I really miss it and know for sure that a part of me is still there...the ladies invited me to come stay with them for free in Kenya and they would even get me a nice Kenyan man to marry so that I could stay there forever. haha. I might go check out a traditional African-protestant service next Sunday cause I miss those church services so much. Also, I went to the Christian Student Union tonight/ this week and met some super awesome people, including a girl that I met at the airport on the way to Ireland. I have also been involved in the Ultimate Frisbee Club and have met some super awesome people there too. I am stoked that I am starting to get plugged in and am meeting a lot of Irish locals.
Yesterday I went to Coole Park, a place where famous poets, such as Yeats and Shaw, went and wrote poetry. I want to write a new blog just on this because it was one of my favorite days so far, so I will, but my computer unfortunately currently won't let me upload pictures so I am going to wait to post that blog until I can post pictures with it. Stay tuned!
Random Irish facts: 1) Ketchup is called "Red sauce", mustard is called "Yellow Sauce", and I'm not quite sure what the "Brown Sauce" is...; 2)Instead of getting a "ride" with someone, you get a "lift" from them
I am addicted to Nutella too!!!! But I've only been through two jars so far. But yes I totally eat it out of the jar with a spoon.
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm pretty sure the brown sauce is BBQ sauce (?) because my roommate got some. And the lift vs. ride thing is gonna get me in serious trouble one of these days, haha. I keep forgetting to say lift!
I was gonna ask you, how do you get music to play on your page? I have a blogger account too and I haven't been able to figure out how to get it to play automatically when people visit my page.
